Who is trans-agrar?

The driving force behind trans-agrar is Barbara Sabel.

Barbara is German and holds a degree in translation. Some 25 years ago, she discovered her passion for agricultural machinery and created the brand.

Based in Heidelberg, Germany, Barbara translates between English and German and manages multilingual projects in all European languages.

As a project manager, she also plays the role of a knowledge leader who shares her expertise with the team to the benefit of human and machine translation.

This dual role has always been a unique constellation in the language industry.

As AI helps boosting efficiencies and cutting costs, it doesn’t replace the expert human who verifies, assesses and checks back with the customer.
